A Fixed Fee for the Majority of Motoring offences
A fixed fee with Criminal Defence Associates is just that – we agree a fee with you and that is it, fixed whatever may happen. If the case is dropped we will seek to recover your costs from the court. Please note that this cannot be guaranteed. If you are eligible for free legal advice, we will advise you and make the necessary application.
For all cases in Lincolnshire our fees are:-
- Guilty plea in the Magistrates Court - £200 plus vat
- Not guilty plea, ½ day trial Magistrates Court trial - £500 + Vat
- Not guilty 1 day trial Magistrates Court trial - £1000 + Vat
Please note, that if an expert witness is required in your case, then their fees are in addition to the fees quoted above. All prices are correct at time of publication. All prices are exclusive of VAT and will be charged at the standard rate.
Our aim in to provide total transparency in our charges. The fixed fee covers everything – including travel. Cases that are likely to take more that one day will be charged at a negotiable hourly rate, which will be discussed and agreed with you before we commence work on your behalf.

Work out of Lincolnshire
We undertake work all over the UK , and if you wish us to attend to deal with a case outside of Lincolnshire then the above fees will still apply, but in addition we will charge for all travel to and from court, and this will be at a flat rate of £50 per hour.
We base our travel times on the fastest route and use the RAC route finder to calculate our journeys – so you can do the same and see how much it will cost you, before you even contact us. |
